Cooling Bed Systems

Cooling beds can be designed to fit your production scale and resource availability. CCR has used three different applications to generate the right solution for each customer.

Walking Beam Cooling Bed
Used for higher grades of steel this product will give faster cooling times. Also cooling occurs in the most uniform way due to the increased air flow created around the billet.

Water Cooled Cooling Bed
A water cooling system allows for reduced initial cost and less maintenance due to having fewer moving parts.

Dry Cooling Bed
A great solution when water is at a premium. Large, heavy-duty skid plates help to transfer the heat without any warping of the bed.
