Ladle Turrets

CCR’s unique design of ladle turret eliminates the need for a large and costly, long lead-time rotary bearing used in traditional ladle turrets. The unique design permits installation in confined areas that are too small for traditional turrets.

A typical installation can be completed in one week shutdown, and minimizes any changes that need to be made to the existing casting machine structure and foundations. . 

Not only does the ladle turret increase productivity, it is being identified as a safer way to position ladles over the tundish. With this arrangement no worker will need to be in danger when the ladle is being carried by the crane.
